Times are tight. Fundraising is feeling the pinch. On behalf of the AT&T Classic and the Atlanta Classic Foundation, I would like to introduce you to a fun and unique fundraising opportunity for your organization. The Atlanta Classic Foundation Charities, Inc. (ACFC) annually sponsors the Birdies for Charity Program in conjunction with the AT&T Classic. ACFC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote golf for the benefit of local charities.
Birdies for Charity can help your organization raise money. The BFC Program is a “no risk / no cost” program your organization may take advantage of to enhance fundraising efforts. ACFC provides a full time coordinator, program administration, pledge forms, management of “Guess the Birdies”, billing, collections and prizes. All you need to do is sign up the people to pledge and be committed to utilizing all generated funds within the greater Atlanta area.
Your organization will receive 100% of the collected amount raised in pledges. In addition to your initial fundamp;T Bonus Bucks are shared by participating charities in proportion to the pledges collected on their behalf. Simply put, AT&T Bonus Bucks means your organization could receive MORE THAN 100% of its net donations from the BFC program. Remember that tournament handles collection.
In 2007, the BFC fundraising program generated more than $625,000 for over 100 participating local charities. These types of charities range from church and schools groups to youth foundations and animal shelters. No charity should pass on this fun & unique fundraising program with no financial risk. The program continues to grow exponentially, so please let me know if you know of any other charities or groups that could benefit from the BFC program.
Please take a moment to read the “Information Manual” to learn more about the program. If you would like to participate in the 2008 Birdies for Charity program, simply fill out the application on page 14 of the Information Manual and mail or fax it to us. If you have questions after reviewing the material, please contact me at (770) 951-8777.
Birdies for Charity has unlimited fundraising potential. I hope your organization will take advantage of this unique opportunity and become part of the 2008 Birdies for Charity Fundraising Program.
